Posted by – October 27, 2010

Little islands offer a lot of fun for the miles of coastlines that make up their small land mass.

Local sea life and wild life abound and offer many fun and exciting highlights to trips on and off the islands. North Captiva offers miles of beautiful sandy beaches, quiet hidden harbors and canals, perfect for exploring with a sea kayak.

This curious Eagle Ray is just off the port side of our boat as we coast along near the fish house at the entrance to Safety Harbor.

For most travelers and even locals, North Captiva Island is just getting discovered. All of the services, amenities, accommodations, and luxury beauty of this tropical island is just 5 miles off the coast of Florida waiting for you to discover it too.
